Katy Haldiman, MS, RN, Nutritional Therapist & Primal Movement Educator
Katy Haldiman, MS, RN is a certified nutritional therapist, primal movement educator, and a registered nurse (licensed in California, Florida, and Ohio). Katy earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Health Care & Nursing Administration degree from the University of Michigan. Her education as a nutritional therapist is through the Nutritional Therapy Association. Katy also has a background in natural movement and she is a health and fitness specialist certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, a Movnat certified trainer, and a Yoga Tune Up® instructor. She is also currently a Restorative Exercise Specialist student at the Nutritious Movement Center.
After several years of practicing as a nurse in the conventional health care system, Katy discovered the Paleo lifestyle in 2012 as a way of eliminating symptoms of her own gastrointestinal and autoimmune disease (read more about Katy’s personal story here). Katy made it her mission to help others make healing changes in their own lives through the power of real food and to spread the message far and wide about the many positive health benefits of the Paleo lifestyle. She firmly believes that ancestral health principles are what is needed to turn around the failing health of our population and reform our current “sick” care system. Katy owns a holistic nutrition consulting practice and works with clients all over the world via Skype and telephone in her one-on-one and group coaching sessions. She is co-creator of the online course Paleocare: The Nurses’ Guide to Real Food. Katy is also the Health Director of the Paleo Movement Magazine. In her spare time, Katy enjoys spending time with her two beautiful fur babies, experimenting with Paleo recipes, working out, reading, and spending time outdoors.
